Can I use my Mini Coyote outside the UK?
Yes, by upgrading your subscription to European cover, your Mini Coyote will work throughout 28 European Countries (in 9 different languages) and with over 800,000 members of the Coyote Community you will never be far from another user. Your Mini Coyote will also automatically change from Miles per Hour to Kilometres per Hour, once you are outside of the UK.
Your initial subscription includes 12 months UK coverage or you can upgrade to European coverage for £50 including VAT by contacting us at info@coyotesystems.co.uk. After the initial year you have the option to renew your subscription with UK coverage or UK plus European coverage..
Which 28 European countries are covered?
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. Please remember that there are some countries where you are not allowed to use your Mini Coyote, such as Germany and Switzerland.
Am I able to use my Mini Coyote in a different car or motorcycle?
Your Mini Coyote device is portable and can be used in different vehicles and can also be used on a motorcycle. If you would like to use the device on a motorcycle, there is a Motorcycle Accessory Kit that can be purchased here (the kit includes 2 extra slim earphones that are GPS and MP3 compatible, 2 waterproof cases including one for heavy rain use, a helmet sum visor and a handlebar / sleeve fixing kit).
How do I update my Mini Coyote device?
The updates are sent automatically to your Mini Coyote. Every time you switch on your device, it will download the latest updated features and cameras locations.
Where do I install the Mini Coyote in my vehicle?
It is important that your Mini Coyote can obtain the best possible GPS signal. Consequently, if your vehicle is equipped with a heat reflective windscreen you will need to install it using the Coyote bracket (enclosed with your device) on your windscreen in the non-athermal part (the shaded area near the rear-view mirror).
What is a Scout?
A Scout is a member of the Coyote Community who has a Coyote device and has been observed in the last 30 minutes on the stretch of road that you are using. They are members of the Community Coyote who rely on you as much as you can count on them. Scouts are represented as the Coyote logo on your screen. This information is updated every 5 minutes on your device.
